As part of the Erasmus+ Program, the Department of English Language Teaching welcomed Dr. Agata Wolanin from the University of the National Education Commission (UKEN), Kraków, Poland, who conducted an interactive workshop on May 21, 2026, entitled "Aliens Visiting Earth: How to Look at Cultural Difference and Have a Meaningful Intercultural Experience? The Case of Poland and Turkey."
The workshop engaged participants in a series of interactive activities designed to explore cultural differences, intercultural communication, and cultural awareness through the examples of Poland and Turkey. Throughout the session, our students and faculty members had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of cultural diversity in educational settings while developing a deeper understanding of different cultural perspectives through hands-on learning experiences.
