Welcoming Scholars from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University

As the department of ELT, we had the pleasure of welcoming Assoc. Professor, Dr Ainur Zhorabekova and Ms Moldir Kurmasheva from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University as part of a collaborative academic exchange program on November, 10, 2025. The visit was supported within the framework of an institutional partnership aimed at strengthening ties between the two universities.

The primary goal of the visit was to establish academic and research connections, explore opportunities for joint projects, and discuss future collaborations in the field of foreign language teacher education. During their meetings, the participants exchanged ideas on advancing research practices, promoting staff and student mobility, and developing joint initiatives that support innovation in teacher training.

 

Erasmus+ Information Meeting

An Erasmus+ information meeting was organized by one of our department’s faculty members, Assist. Prof. Pınar Başkan, to inform our students about the Erasmus+ program and to help them connect with other students who have previously had this experience.

 

 

Erasmus+ Seminar

Our year 4 student, Melis Karabulut, gave a great talk on Erasmus+ youth mobility, voluntary actions, and traineeship options in November 2018. We welcomed students and coordinators from other departments of Atatürk Faculty of Education as well as students from our department. We are planning to organize another session to reach everyone all over the university.

 

 

Erasmus+ Social Gathering

We had great and fruitful time in our Erasmus+ social gathering in December 2017. Erasmus+ participants shared their previous experiences and answered questions for the future applicants. Thanks to everyone that attended the event.

 

 

Erasmus+ Visiting Instructors

We were very pleased to welcome Asst. Emin Idrizi of International Balkan University (IBU), located in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, as a visiting instructor through Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program in March 2017. Our students really enjoyed his classes and learned a lot from his lectures.
